Just finished weeds and really enjoyed it. Was looking for another gem, so what are you all watching?

I read that arrested development is coming to Netflix original programming with new episodes.

As far as what I'm watching now? Party Down season 2. Funny stuff.

I've gone through Archer and The X Files, now I'm working on Stargate SG-1.

Have you watched stargate universe yet? That is my favorite of the series....however they canceled it after two seasons. Both on NF.

Arrested Development
Breaking Bad
Top Gear (if you're a car person)
Touching the Void (documentary)

Just a start...

No, I've only seen about half of the SG-1 episodes (even though my sis owns all of them on DVD) and only saw the first few episodes of Atlantis. I figure I'll get through both of those before I watch Universe.

It was kind of the same thing with The X Files - I just lost interest at the beginning of season 6 and I never made it through the rest of the series until just a few weeks ago.

I liked U the best because it was less scifi hokey. Main focus was the people on board and survival with occasional scifi scenarios.

Prison Break is pretty good through the first season and a half (mighta been 2 1/2 season, can't remember). Kinda lost interest in it after that because they were just dragging out the plot. But the first season is a must watch.

If you like spy-type stuff....I would strongly suggest MI-5. It is British, but I really enjoyed it. Unlike most shows, it was not afraid to kill off its main characters.....often.

Also, on the Sci-Fi side, Firefly is a must, even though it was only one season. After you watch the series, then watch the movie Serenity. Especially if you are a Summer Glau fan. I also liked Farscape....has some of the SG actors in it.

I would recommend the new Battlestar Galactica series for sci-fi fans.

Hell, id recommend it for most people. It does a great job of keeping the focus on the characters and not on the scifi.

For sci-fi people, id recommend marathon-ing Star Trek DS9. I'm most way through this one, and finding it to be my favorite series.

The net Battle Star Galactics became one of my all time favorite shows from Netflix. Interesting look at the human race. (and I'm not a big Sci Fi fan)

Firefly was good, some of the episodes annoyed me, but I found myself liking it more as time went on. Great cast.

Dexter is great, but they only have 2 seasons.

Arrested Development is great, but it's short, Breaking is awesome.
