Casual fan of the sport but this race for the cup is getting interesting with 40 laps to go. Who you guys rooting for? I'm in the Edwards camp. Should be a great finish.

They should have just red-flagged this race for the rain. They've done over 12 caution laps now just in this caution. This is ridiculous.

Stewart definitely drove it like he stole it. What a performance. We will be very lucky to see another season end like last night. Though I am a Stweart fan, I was kind of hoping Edwards would get close enough to trade a little paint.

I was rooting for Tony. Man that was exciting. I don't know how you do points, but 5 wins in "The Chase" should put you in the lead. They award 10 points/win going in but not during. Maybe they need to award on 5 points/win going in and 5 points over 2nd during the chase.

NASCAR could not have s-cripted their season finale any better if they tried. You'll never see anything like that again.

My father in law is happy. (Stewart fan)

They made the right decision by running the laps under the yellow then going green. It looked like it was raining pretty hard right after the race was over. They probably wouldn't have been able to finish if they had delayed entirely.

That was an incredible finish - agreed NASCAR couldn't have hoped for anything better (other than for maybe it to have been Kyle Busch and Dale Jr. - with Jr. winning). Comes down to consistency vs. wins, racing for the win, and tying the championship - tiebreaker to wins. Awesome finish and glad for Stewart - he had an incredible run in the Chase.
