My wife is looking for an MP3 player of some sort that you can do the normal download and play song function.....but also has a built in FM radio. She wants to use it for running, so hopefully something that is smaller. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Sansa 230 mp3 player I got at Best Buy 2 or 3 years ago just for that purpose. It's only 500MB, but that's all I need for a workout player. Plenty of workout songs on it. Probably 2.5" x 1" - not big at all. Built in FM radio, especially handy at the gym to watch and listen to the wall tvs they have. It's not flashy or anything - you can listen by artist, album, or all. You can't transfer individual playlists to it, however. Not a problem for me though since i just have workout/running songs on it. It does have shuffle function on it though, thank god. Simple velcro armband, really light, worth what I paid for it.

here's a look: Sandisk Sansa m230 512MB MP3 Player Blue with FM Tuner

I'm a huge fan of the Ipod Nano's... I know it probably isnt the most technologically advanced MP3, but it is small and holds 2,000 songs approximately, which is more than I'll ever need... Most MP3 technology is fairly similar across companies, so when you pay more to buy and Ipod (outside of the Ipod Touch) you really are only paying for the brand name... So there is probably cheaper products out there that are fairly similar to the nano, but I have liked it so far and it is really easy to use while working out

I recently bought a refurbished Sansa Express 2GB for $15 shipped from Buy.com.

The deal's over, but you they pop up fairly frequently.
