That is so BS. all he does is stickhandle 3 times and take a slapshot. I think above all, that pisses me off about the movie.
does anybody else that watches the NHL, when they see Stahl playing do they believe it is the same guy? I sure do.
You mean the Staals? Eric? Jordan? Marc? They're super Canadian... though if anyone, Eric Staal would be closest to Gunner Stahl.
What also pisses me off about this movie is that if I would have said anything to any of my coaches about who he went to get ice cream with, he would tell us all to kiss his *** and make us do gassers for three hours.

Who's the Iceland guy that then makes out with Julie the Cat? IIRC he plays for the high school team in D3?
You know, I was so turned off by D3 that I only watched it once, and don't remember a thing about it, except the fact that they were in the Junior Olympics, but couldn't make varsity.
He died in the movie during 3rd one, not sure about actual life but I'll guess between 2 and 3.
