I pity Melvin for ever making an appearance on CF with all you creepers loitering about. There must be a couple hundred ridiculous questions in this thread! Haha. Poor Melvin.

Dear Melvin,
You can answer truthfully now. Did some BYU fan blurt out some racist crap that day? I think we all suspect it.

Also I was a design student in Rome at ISU in '00 and think it was awesome you went to watch a game with them last year.

Melvin, would you do us a favor and send Fred a text that simply says "Don't go to Chicago. Bring a National Title to Ames next year."

So wha do you think of the posters that bashed on him throughout the years?

Here, I'll add your reputation comment, as well:

That's being a ****? Maybe direct your comment to the posters that bashed him....dolt

I think it is terrible to bash him. Almost as bad as repeating it to his face and asking him if it is true that his hands are made of stone.

You really have no idea, do you?

LOL this is awesome. Melvin Ejim on CF. Hey - when in Europe, did you get to travel around much on your own time to other cities? There's some great **** out there for people who love history like you.

Make sure you go through threads from 2010-2013 and inform the posters for being dicks as well. Thx.

Just saw this thread. Welcome to CF! I loved watching you play and you are one of my favorite Cyclones of all time. Quick question (probably been asked already): What was your favorite dunk while you were at Iowa State?

First of all, you're one of the most humble and impactful players we've had at Iowa State. Your senior year was one of my favorites to watch. You were here during a time of Iowa State becoming something special from the many years we had to watch it be "not so special". We appreciate your service and coming onto the forums to spend some of your time.

How does playing overseas effect you and effect your ability to see your family? Do you get home sick? Does you family get to travel to see you play?

Thank you for your kind words.
Playing oversees makes it very difficult to see my family but luckily I was able to get a few people over to Italy and they were able to enjoy that with me as well. I stopped getting home sick a long time ago, when you leave home at 15 to go to a different country and make something of a sport being home sick didn't really seem like an option.

Very true Mel. My adventures in the Army didn't allow me to be "home sick". Was never in my vocabulary... We are all very proud of you Mel. Thanks for being such a fan favorite. #CyclONEnation
