He got some big offers right after he was granted his release. Texas being one of them.

As an Iowa fan I hope he comes to Iowa for two reasons.....

1. we need him

If that guy was a Siena recruit, he knows the guy that ended up getting the head job, and probably knows him pretty well.

I agree but the Siena AD also let Basabe put a clause in his LOI that he could be let out of it if McCaffery wasn't the coach at Siena. I'm sure last November when Basabe signed his LOI the AD had no idea McCaffery would be gone after this year.

How many drunken slurs do you think he could get in there.

I think the over/under would have to be about 7. Bet the under though, there's a good chance that piece will be in rehab again.
