Trying to remember...does anyone know if Coach Mac got any technicals last year? I don't, and that would have been the year to get frustrated enough to get one!

It would be a cool CyBookie event to predict how many techs he gets this year, but I realize that would tie up credits until the end of the season, so maybe not.

Couldn't find one in any of last years box scores..

Only technical foul I could find was a North Dakota State player.

Thanks for checking. That was my intuition about last year. I would've thought he would have taken one at some point just to fire the team up.

I think that whole "fire up the team technical" is overrated. Most times the coach gets kicked out he just doesn't want to watch the carnage anymore.

I think sometimes it works at home, because the crowd goes bonkers and that can sometimes translate to team intensity.

Your point made me realize that Mac is a patient man, as I would have got a couple of techs last year after MT's 13th of the game, just so I could relax in the locker room.

Personally, I would've been completely ok (if not pleased) if he got one on this day...

Mostly for this one...had he completed the follow-through.

I do remember the crowd going NUTS in response to G-Mac getting on the zebra for the horrible calls/no-calls under the basket that game.

The sad thing is we may NEVER see a better exit than LE vs. MSU. The notorious double foul. What a way to go.

I thought it was embarrassing, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

Now, I can totally see why that is embarrassing. Back then, I was just as pissed or even more pissed after the call as well so LE was doing exactly what I woulda done.

I was in KC watching at the alumni game watch before the women played their sweet 16 game when LE had his tirade. The whole place went nuts and chants of "Larry!" and some people yelling things like "give 'em hell Larry!" were being said. Was a real big swing of emotion because it was nuts in that place right before that terrible double foul call then really ackward as we made our way to municipal as we just watched our best shot a final 4 slip through our hands.

I'm surprised GMac hasn't got T'd up yet because at times he's constantly riding the refs.
