Bradley beat Iowa tonight almost by an identical score they beat us by. We lost 65-56, Iow loses 67-56. We played Bradley on the road, Iowa played at neutral site.

With the game being in Hilton and us hopefully having Wesley Johnson back, I am looking forward to a great Win!

I don't predict an Iowa win, but I do think the game will be close. Of course, it'll be the first real big road test of the season for the Hawks, and being a young in-experienced team going on the road is always tough.

But I do think that Iowa and ISU, at least right now, are pretty evenly matched.

I have to admit, SouthernHawk, that Iowa looks better than I had thought they would thus far. They looked worse beating up on quite possibly the 4 worst teams in Div. 1.

ISU is inconsistent at best, and it is certainly possible that Iowa wins, but I think if Wes gets some games under his belt by the Iowa game, and the fact that we are at Hilton, makes it a win for ISU.

Hilton will certainly be a welcome advantage for our young team..

It will be close. Both teams play a style that makes it difficultu to blow teams out. Both teams aren't very good right now.

This could be an interesting game. If Wes returns and Juri plays to last year's form, the Cyclones should win. Both coaches are very similar in style...heavy emphasis on defense with a patterned half-court offense. I think defending the 3 will be critical. All in all this will be the start of a long rivaly between McD and Lick. I think at times we may miss Alford...

Alford had a very good record against us. Honestly I like us in this game by at least 7 - they really struggled to defend Bradley's guards, and I think Diante and Wes have big games.

Can I retract the kind words I said above about the Hawks? They are down 9 at the half to 3-4 Utah State.

They have started slow in most games, but finished well, though. We'll see what happens.

This game has the feel of another Iowa loss. The Hawks are going to come home with a few good learning experience. It's too bad they come at the hands of a team like Utah State, but sometimes games like these are needed.

Hopefully I'm wrong, and Iowa comes back, but I doubt it.

Iowa lost to USU and ISU will hopefully have Wes back. ISU should win handily. (At least if we have any point guard play)

The importance of the PG position is minimized against Iowa. The game will be no problem and it's not because we are very good. Interesting...the only Iowan's playing in the game will be former walk-ons.

I was actually surprised how well Iowa played Bradley the other night. With the way were playing right now, it might be closer than expected. Let's hope it doesn't take Wesley too long to get back into game shape.

If we play Iowa to a close game, we have nothing to look forward to.

They are pathetic. Like their football team pathetic.
