Idea: Maybe less gambling threads

About teams no one has ever heard of or teams no one cares about? It seems like each week there are about 10 threads for betting on games like IUPUI or Western International Columbian Cocaine University that no one has even heard of, let alone cares about, plastered on the front page.

I get that it takes a while to create the betting threads, but seriously. Iowan's United on Peeing Uraguandian style In cereal is not a school anyone cares about. If the front page is going to be bogged with betting threads, at least make them match ups that people might actually give a **** about.

They quickly fall off the first page when people post in other threads. This thread will have the same fate.

It's true that the disappear quickly, but for those of us that don't have time to camp on here all the time, it is annoying to drop in looking to see what folks are talking about and see that half of the threads are gambling threads of total disinterest to ISU fans.

Speaking of gambling degenerates, two outstanding ones I have hope for:
1) ISU to be the #1 seed in the Big 12 tourney. OK, not a lot of hope, but it's something.
2) ISU to go over 21.5 wins.

I agree, in fact it was a blessing in disguise because it showed the team that they couldn't just show up and win. So that game was truley a win for Cyclonenation and we should all win credits :yes:
