Mattress issue

I put a full bed on the curb during trash day and before I even got it halfway to the curb some dude said he’d help me carry it out. I did t want any guy who would take a used bed in my house so I told him that in 5 minutes it would all be out there. It was gone in 10 minutes.
It’s actually currently serving as that right now stood up on the side in the hall. Little JM goes through the little opening whenever going down the hall instead the open side.
Looked into this. Not that cheap where I live for some reason. I thought about taking it to a homeless shelter or something too.
If you are in Minnesota, I see a lot of people who like to take naps in ditches because I see several mattresses in ditches of backroads up there. Maybe you can find a ditch napper from MN.
In DSM you buy the Large Item trash stickers, put them on the item, then leave it on the curb. Stickers are either $5 or $10 dollars depending on size of mattress.
Another idea is I had a very good mattress that we just honestly didn't have an actual bed or space for and I gave it to some Syrian refugees in DSM. I didn't find them, a friend posted about it on facebook but they are in demand and there are a million good things to do with them as long as they aren't just nasty.
Or Facebook market place for free - post in a local buy sale trade group. Stuff i have listed for free is usually gone in a couple hours or less.
I had a smaller deep freeze that stopped working (cheapo from lowes). i didn't even have time to go inside and write "free" on a piece of paper and it was GONE.
Make a stain on it shaped like Herky and put it on your curb. Get a beer. Sit for awhile and watch the Tavern Hawks gather like it's some kind of religious miracle.
I’ve got a paintball gun with red paintballs and a nice scope. Let them come BC. Be like Christmas morning.
Had a friend put an old grill out with a free sign on it and it sat there for a week. He then put a sign on it for $25 and it was gone overnight.
