I hope our coaching staff is telling them about the urgency of our situation.

I heard Dale Brown (former LSU coach) tell a story...he was recruiting one of the top players in the country (Rudy Macklin from Louisville, KY) before he had put the LSU program on the map as a good national program.

This was back in the 70s when there were not many games on TV.

At any rate, LSU was going to be on national TV playing Kentucky in Baton Rouge and Dale made sure to let Rudy know and told him to make sure to watch. Kentucky absolutely pounded LSU during that game and before Dale went to the locker room after the game he called Rudy's house and asked if he'd watched. Rudy said he had and that LSU didn't look so good. Dale replied something to the effect of that's why LSU needs Rudy Macklin so bad.

Rudy Macklin came to LSU and helped build the program into a perrenial power.

If this Pressey kid can play like his old man...especially on the defensive end...he would be a good get for us.

Similar story with Tinsley on his visit we played terribly. He told LE after the game something like it looks like you guys need a point guard. Rest is history.

He wants to RS in college, in order to gain weight, so don't know how badly we want him now.

Only 9 more days till signing day. It would be nice to have some idea of who we are going to get. Right now it looks like everything is up in the air.

Look at his resume and see how it stacks up against 100 other candidates. I think the burdon is on those who think he would deserve the job as opposed to those that don't think he deserves it.
