I hope he totally is on here so we can absolutely bag on him!

What a moron. What started the call? I tuned in when he was asking about WOI ownership.

He thought Murph should burn in hell for being a hawk homer because he left WOI for WHO.

This older guy called in asking if WOI was owned by ISU. Then after confirmation went off on bagging on Murphy being the lead cheerleader for the Hawks. Then damned him to Hell along with Hayden Fry. He also had a creepy laugh during every pause. Just came out of the blue from what I could determine. Murph let him go on and on, but you can tell it did hit him a little hard.

I thought Murph knew it was coming from a crazy fan and understood that guy has a persecution complex.

one of the funniest things in local sports to me is how every fan base calls out the local media for being biased. Every hawk fan thinks they are all cyclone fans, and vice versa. Comedy. If you ever catch yourself thinking that, please jump off a bridge.

Was just going to say something similar to this. Murph gets accused by both fanbases every time he posts something on facebook.

The only bias Murph has is his pro media bias. If there's a situation between a player/coach and a reporter he almost always sides with the reporter.

I really, really hope this made it to the podcast though, that will make for a fun listen tomorrow morning

Please don't actually do that

If anything Murph sides with ISU. He was employed there and I believe Jenny, his wife, went to ISU. Either way he and Miller seem to be the least biased in Iowa.

I realize that 99% of our fans are sane and good fans for the most part, but the 1% like that caller give us a bad look. I know that every fanbase has them, but it's still embarrassing
