Denver has a lot of DUI check points so be conscious of that especially during St Patrick's Day Week/Weekend
For anyone interested in skiing Friday...lift tickets out here are outrageous. A single day ticket to Copper is 144 now if you buy at the window. If you're seriously interested in going there on Friday (as myself and another cyclone will be) let me know. I have a season pass and still have a few buddy passes I can use for you at the window. Makes the price $79. PM if you're interested. Lifts open around 9 and we're planning to be there then.
Typically you can expect $20 per day, but they do have special event rates too. Idk but I would say $20-$30 per day would be a good estimate.
DO NOT park in the parking ramp in Auraria unless you like spending 30 minutes trying to get out. Like some others have suggested use uberX. My house (Hampden & Sheridan) to downtown is 9 miles or about 20 minutes and cost is usually $18. Watch for Surge Pricing during peak hours. With NCAA and st pats it will be pretty busy. Most surge pricing i have seen is 1.7X normal rate. Can be much higher based on demand though. You get plenty of warning prior but drunk happens. If you look around you can find cheaper parking if you're willing to walk a little ways. I park on 20th and Market often. Otherwise, across from the Pepsi Center is the Auroria Campus and there are a number of very cheap parking lots there. I can't guarantee it but I've parked in the deck directly across from Pepsi Center and often times later at night the gate it up when you leave so its free.

I've been there for football games and you normally have some UNI fans as well as quite a few Cyclone fans and then just a swarm of Hawkeye fans, but they are decent anyways. Not the typical ***** hawkeye fans you might expect.

Park near Coors field and bar hop on your way to Pepsi center isn't a terrible idea either.
If you're from Iowa and you want to ski a day or two while you're out here, I would recommend other places than Copper/Keystone/Breck. Unless you're an expert skiier who's going to see the whole mountain, some of the more blue-collar resorts will be more bang for your buck, and less I-70 traffic to drive through. Check out Loveland Ski Area, and Arapahoe Basin.
Gonna be hitting the Mellow Mushroom downtown Denver after the game for some of the best pizza in the city.
Another great pizza option is Paxtis. there are a couple locations (cherry creek/Uptown....). Think Chicago style.
If you like Mexican food - go to the Rio Grande, the downtown location. Great food, huge margaritas and a fun atmosphere.
Or Casa Bonita. I have never been there, I just know it exists and it was on South Park.
For those of you in for a few days and like beer...
Fate Brewing in Boulder: my new fav brewery. Laimas is a gold medal winning beer, a phenomenal Kolsch style. They have a great variety too, including a very good IPA and a Gose that a friend of mine swears is the best he's ever had of that style.
New Belgium in Ft. Collins: about an hour from Denver but worth the trip, especially if you have a day to burn
Denver Beer Co: located in the downtown area, we are drawn here all the time when the weather is good. Great indoor/outdoor location and very pet friendly. Great beers and a kick-*** pretzel.

To add, Living the Dream brewery (a ways from the Pepsi Center) is run by a CFanatic. Dry Dock Brewery in Aurora (also a ways from the Pepsi Center) is run by ISU peeps.
