Where is everyone staying in Denver? Downtown near the stadium seems pricey. Some said they may stay near the Tech Center and use the light rail.

Also, has CW announced a CF meet-up location (other than Society)?

There is another bar called the ReinHaus about a block from Society. They are about the closest bars to the Pepsi Center you will find and I know ISU will be directing fans to both. Society opens at 8 on Thursday, the Reinhaus at 10.

Any good Cyclone pregame spot before the game

Society is the alumni association gamewatch spot, and it seems like most fans will try to go there. Good spot too, it's about as close to the stadium as you can get as far as bars are concerned.

Also if you anyone is into skiing/snowboarding, late this week into the weekend will probably be an amazing time to go. Most resorts just reported 6-12 inches overnight last night, and it's supposed to snow up in the mountains all week.

I was in Denver last year for a bachlor party. We stayed at an airbnb place about a mile or so south of downtown. In any case, there was a restaurant/bar called Historians that was awesome. Get the Chorizo Burger if they have it. It may have been a special. The street it is on is Broadway, which had a lot of other cool places to hang out as well.

Society is going to be crazy this week. That's where I would recommend going. I would suggest using the light rail to get downtown other than staying downtown. Parking is going to be a mess ad it will get expensive. I would suggest staying close to the Broadway, Colorado, or Bellevue Stations. The Sports Column will be fun and is walking distance from Society, but it is a Hawkeye bar.

So....how exactly could it be fun then? lol

Thanks. Knowing which train stations to stay near is helpful.

So, how bad is parking? Are we talking $20? $50? A few blocks?

For anyone interested in skiing Friday...lift tickets out here are outrageous. A single day ticket to Copper is 144 now if you buy at the window. If you're seriously interested in going there on Friday (as myself and another cyclone will be) let me know. I have a season pass and still have a few buddy passes I can use for you at the window. Makes the price $79. PM if you're interested. Lifts open around 9 and we're planning to be there then.

Typically you can expect $20 per day, but they do have special event rates too. Idk but I would say $20-$30 per day would be a good estimate.

I've been there for football games and you normally have some UNI fans as well as quite a few Cyclone fans and then just a swarm of Hawkeye fans, but they are decent anyways. Not the typical ***** hawkeye fans you might expect.

Thanks. Glad to know we are in the KC $20 range rather than the Chicago $50 range.

How would you compare the traffic around the venue to traffic around the Sprint Center in KC? I'm amazed at how easy it is to get in and out of the Sprint Center.

Denver has Uber. Download the App and use it.

Uber is a good option as well. This past weekend they were charging 2X the regular rate, and I would assume the same for this weekend. The number one option is the light rail. you can get downtown for $2.50 and depending on where you're at it takes the same time as a cab ride.

Driving will suck, but if you take the light rail it won't be too bad. I go to quite a few nuggets games and bronco games and drove once and will never do it again. I always take the light rail for its convenience, but be aware of the times. The light rail depending on the line will be closed before the bars do, so if you intend to close down the bars don't pan on taking the light rail. I know last train leaves union station at 1:12 AM
