I realize my own and fellow CFers perspectives have a heavy ISU lean, but how any transfer, at this point, does not have Hoiball at the top of his list is truly unfathomable to me.

I'd be more bummed about it if I weren't sure Monte would be the man next year. I'm very happy with how he progressed and I think we'll be ok without him. Would be nice to have another good shooter though. Add a great SG to pair with Naz and MT and we'll be fine.

I hope he enjoys playing on an offensively deficient team.

Starting to forget what it felt like to land a recruit haha. Our last HS recruit committed on 11-19-2012. (Custer). Our last recruit in general (JUCO/transfer/etc) was McKay on 11-5-2013. Hopefully the recent success can start to make an impact on landing guys.

Honestly it really isn't that surprising he didn't come here and I'm really not disappointed either. Hogues & Niang are locks for 30 MPG. That leaves 60 mpg for positions 3-5. McKay and Nader will take up a majority of those as well Thomas getting some of those when he plays the 3. Not saying I didn't want him but I'm guessing someone was probably going to be alittle unhappy with their minutes between Nader, McKay and Lee. The only thing this team could really use is a big physical guard.

Somewhere in the U.S.
This was his first official visit anywhere wasn't it? Maybe it wasn't going to take a lot to impress him. Whichever campus he saw first.....that would be it.

Too bad but maybe Fred's got something else up his sleeve. Haven't heard much more about Mason but obviously he would be an incredible addition. This year showed we're one injury away from maintaining a great team so would guess Fred will want to add somebody. The nice thing about Nader's versatility is Fred could add a good combo guard and Nader could play more 3-4. Add a good front liner and Nader can go more 2-3. Who knows, maybe Lee wasn't Fred's first choice.

So, why Ohio State? Does he have connections there?
