Silly me, I prefer to watch an entire team play. They should just start a 1 on 1 league, then you can see that and maybe the rest of the guys will play actual basketball.

See the San Antonio Spurs in 2003, 2005 and 2007 as well as the Pistons in 2004.

The NBA and David Stern may have hated it, but good Teams won those championships.

I agree, they hated it, that's not what the NBA wants. So things like that happening are more exceptions rather than the rule, especially going forward I think as they continue to tweak the rules. The NBA doesn't want a team game, it wants Lebron and Kobe combining for 100 points every game.

You couldn't be more wrong! Do you watch the NBA? Sports in general, b/c you have no idea what you are talking about

Last 10 NBA winners:

Celtics (Pierce, KG, Ray Allen)
Spurs (Duncan, Parker, Ginobli)
Heat (Wade and Shaq)
Pistons (Wallace, Prince, Billups, Hamilton, Wallace)
Spurs (Duncan, Parker, Robinson)
Lakers
Lakers
Lakers (Shaq, Kobe and solid role players)
Spurs
Bulls (MJ, Pippen, Rodman)

So you are proven that you can't win the title with one good player. When the Lakers win it this year, they will have Gasol, Kobe and some solid role players in Odom, Fisher, Arizu, etc

The league loves team basketball. Look at the Suns.

The reason they didn't like Detroit and San Anton in the finals is because they were incredibly low rated and nobody gave a crap about those two teams.

Good posts guys....couldn't agree more about the quality of play in the NBA...although I may be a little biased. If any of you don't have a horse in the NBA playoff race, feel free and hop on with the Magic...

Percentage wise, Craig Brackins scored more of ISU's points this past season than Kobe scored for the Lakers (31% vs 25%).

Role players, by definition, are not stars. Don't tell me Pao Gasol is a star.

Please notify the NBA that his appearance in the All-Star game should not have happened.

Now you are changing your tune! Go back to the cave!

I just showed you how you have to be a complete team to win the NBA Championship and that is all you can say in return

Oh and for the record, Pau Gasol is a star. He was an all star this year and is a top 5 center in the league. Heck the guy was 3rd team all NBA. Once again, you don't know what you are talking about

Orlando has a very good chance of beating the Cavs and that is b/c they are a more complete team. Even without their starting PG (Nelson) they still have Turkalo, Howard, and Lewis. Mix that in with some solid role players and they have an advantage over the Cavs.

Of course Lebron is ridiculously good and could still carry the Cavs to the championship on his back

Howard may be the face of the team, but Turkoglu is the man that is making that team tick. Without Turkoglu the Magic are just an 8 seed that was bounced from the playoffs a month ago...

Agree. I think you could say that they all make each other tick. Take out any of the top 3 and they fall apart. I love watching the Magic play. A very complete team. Good shooting and a dominate big man.

I said the same thing about the Rockets. Shane Battier makes that team go but they really need everyone on that squad, b/c they don't have a superstar at the 1 thru 3 position to be a go to scorer
