Yeah, that was my thinking too. In fact, here's a transcript straight from my brain:

Lazard switches his commitment from Iowa State to Notre Dame because I mean, why not get one more good nut kick going into the off season...

I also heard he calls Notre Dame weekly, not really sure why if he is 100% all in on Iowa State. I doubt he switches but he is also a 18 year old kid who had to watch a dumpster fire of an offense in Ames this year and he has to do whats best for his future and I really think him coming to Ames isn't it if he wants to be in the NFL.

Sorry to be a debbie downer, but if I'm a 5 star recruit at WR I wouldn't wanna play for Messingham, let alone play with a QB who can't throw a ball accurately more than 8 yards. Like I said, I doubt he switches but wouldn't be completely shocked either.

Maybe time to take a break?

That't not how I heard it. I thought he was just asking all the questions that most of us would want him to ask. If he skipped one question, someone on this site would criticize him for not asking it!

Frankly, I was really glad to be able to hear Lazard's views from his mouth. Too bad he wanted to play BB this year. Otherwise, he might already be signed with us.

Yes.

I'd be a lot happier if they assigned coverage of the Cyclones to Admire. I'm really tired of Sears' smirking when things are less than stellar for the football team.

It's not even that he is a hawk and possibly called us cyclowns once....he just sucks at his job. a lot. that was brutal.

Sit down with someone better next time he asks the same question 30 times. Lazard could have just stood up and said "I'm taking my answers to Cyclones.tv and John Walters."

I didn't get that at all from the video. I took it as there has been so much speculation in the media about Lazard decommitting because of the bad season, Sears took it as a chance to let Lazard say multiple times he would be a Cyclone. But I'm sure the negative posters will always look at things as a slight against ISU.

Didn't Sears come from an Eastern Iowa market? I'm pretty sure he's a big hawk homer. I'm assuming Keith made him the "Cyclone Insider" as some sort of initiation hazing.
