The little bro comment wasn't mean't to be condescending, honestly, because we have been in the same conference for so long and very close to each other, you guys were more of NU's brother then Iowas. Think we've played you more then Iowa has anyways. My strength comment was regarding that if NU had enough power, like Texas, we coulda pulled you guys along to the Big 10 like Texas tried pulling with the Pac 10. Did Iowa even attempt to lobby for ISU? No.

For the longest time I didn't even know there was another college team in the state of Iowa until the internet hit. Thought there was only ISU and that was it.

The 8 turnover game was actually a pretty entertaining game. Cagey Clones.

Wish I woulda found out about this site 7 years ago as I thought all the Clones fansites were your rivals or scouts sites (which are dead). I'll stick around to check in on you guys from time to time.

Even a husker fan can see this was ****ed up. Good point.

Now leave and don't come back.

Wow. Thank you too for that one last look at the level of class your football fans have. No need to thank us for beating Texas for you in your last year in the Big 12. We know that you would have never beaten them again if you had stayed.

No hard feeling on you leaving either. I'm sure Iowa State would have joined the Big 10 also had they been asked. Not that you were asked to join, more like begged to be let in. Thats ok though. We're not judging you for running from your problems. Most people might judge you for throwing aside tradition and honor because of money and shame but we won't. Stay classy nebraska.

I hope Nebraska kicks the **** out of the Big 10, but only because I hate them a little more than Nebraska.

Good riddance, and eat ****. I've never seen a group of people so incapable of humility as Husker fans. Even when they try to be nice, they're so ******* arrogant that they sound like dicks.

I won't miss tailgating at the lamest stadium in the Big 12, thats for sure. Just wait, someday you might be able to actually drink a beer at a Nebraska game without hiding it in a cup.

I will miss playing NU in basketball, even on our down years (OK, the last 6 years) NU was always good for a win or two a year.

Oh, it's not just Iowa where that happens. Unfortunately, that seems to be something of a Big Ten thing.

YouTube - Stay classy, Penn State (NWS)

Wow, that is impressive. Funny thing about fans...many times they think things like this are funny when it's their own fans throwing stuff. When it's not, it is despicable. I'll say that as much as I dislike the Skervs, I was always treated well in Lincoln. Iowa fans will be shocked this fall. Of course, I doubt that they return the favor in 2012. Personally, I don't know how people actually go to these away games just to be treated like crap. Lincoln is much more the exception than the rule. And while I think that Ames is more hospitable than IC, I've seen some pretty mean things done to opposing fans in Ames too...although for the most part it is reserved for iowa and Nebraska fans.

And all with the kNowledge that they lost their AAU status. That's right, the ONLY "school" ever to be kicked out. You could say that LCC is our little brother but academically speaking we're not related.

Eat a bag of d**ks. Little brother my ***; we won't miss arrogant fans like you.

I'm not your bro nor your little bro. I am your physical and intellectual superior. LCC is a joke and we're all glad you're gone. Go **** yourself.

Nice words Dr. Tom. Now go sit on a rusty fence post and spin.

Be nice clones. Like NU fans have to do most of the time, I'll be the bigger person here.

You guys, KSU, KU, OU, Okie Lite, the MUles, TT, Texas, ATM, BAY are nothing like this at the games. Hell even CU can be placed in the moderate category in regards to fan treatment at the games.

NU fans are about to be in for some different scenery going forward at OSU, Mich, Penn St. Iowa, probably harmless.

The only fans I've seen catch hell in Ames were Hawkeyes and very rarely Huskers. Ask my girlfriend how she was treated in Ames wearing her UNI gear v. Iowa City wearing her UNI gear.

I've only been treated poorly at 2 stadiums: Kinnick and Floyd-Casey. I've been to Lincoln, Manhattan, Columbia, College Station, and Austin and was treated well. I think people are generally friendly to road fans.

If Iowa State was actually Nebraska's "little brother", then I'd imagine it would look something like this:

bigbrohusker.jpg

Which I think is fitting given the recent news of UNL not having enough "Nowledge": http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/29/university-of-nebraska-li_n_855730.html

Don't get too comfortable in the big 10, you already got kicked out of the academic fraternity that every big 10 school is a member of. Yeah, I know, football is all that matters but it's nice to see Nebraska being recognized as the juco it is.

It wasn't lost on Lincoln last week when Nebraska became the first school stripped of its membership in the prestigious, research-based 62-school Association of American Universities, a position it had held since 1909, and that the AAU review committee was chaired by Larry Faulkner. And that the current AAU president is Bob Berdahl.

Both are former University of Texas presidents.

That raised eyebrows, but Nebraska athletic director Tom Osborne isn't pointing fingers.

"I don't think that's had any legs as far as we're concerned," he said. "Harvey Perlman (Nebraska's chancellor) is more plugged in than I am, and he didn't feel it was any Big 12 or University of Texas move to oust us. It (losing the status) does hurt, though. It was sort of a blow to our perception and pride."

Nebraska, which had been a member for more than 100 years, lost its good standing in part because agricultural research grants aren't counted among the criteria for admission.

The AAU was founded in 1900 and includes 60 of the top research institutions in the country, as well as two in Canada. Every Big Ten school is a member. In the Big 12, Texas, Texas A&M, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa State are in.

Now that the school year is almost over and NU is about out of the league wanted to come by and wish you little bros good luck going forward. In the process of saying goodbye to the Big 8 schools.

ISU holds a special place with most Husker fans because we saw ISU as one of NU's baby brothers. Like all little brothers ISU was a real pain in the butt sometimes. However mostly pretty good guys.

I always rooted for you guys except when you played NU and that won't change going forward. Unfortunately NU wasn't strong enough to take care of you guys a little better, make sure you guys get to schedule the Texas teams to visit Ames in November a few times. Let them experience playing in JackTrice in windy November. It's quite the battle.

Gonna miss you Clones.

If ISU is NU's little brother then NU is Bevo's turd.

So you're saying Nebraska is worse than Canada?

Let me guess you are some dude in Des Moines in some basement that has no association to Nebraska at all?

Man there's a lot of NU hate on here, wasn't expecting that kind of feedback considering this is the first time I've seen this board and posted here. Never knew you clones had this in you. Wow.

Good luck clones and I'll be on my way.

What did you really expect when you start off your posting here calling ISU your little brother, Dumb***?

Good work everybody.

Seriously, when was the last time that calling someone your little brother (in a similar context) went over well? It's a demeaning label, and therefore you are going to p*ss people off when you use that label to refer to them.

Add to that the fact this your OP was your first post on the site, and it's blatantly obvious that you are little more than a troll.
