I'm being overly critical and probably shouldn't be. But for the love of God D-line PUT YOUR HANDS UP on the pass plays. Overall they did well, but that was discouraging. Basic fundamentals.

That happened last year. They did it in the last few games finally.

D-Line looked solid against a good, but overrated Iowa o-line. Linebackers played great. Secondary locked down Iowa's receivers. Very impressive performance. Second half gave up 3 points.

Funny that you mention this. When Coach Nelson was here under McCarney he didn't want you to put your arms up because then you are giving up getting to the qb. I don't think this is the same with the current staff but thought it was worth mentioning.

I'm probably completely wrong, but it feels like the get your hands up to knock down the pass thing is trending in football over the last 10-15 years. I don't remember it being a big thing in the 90s, but like I said, I could be wrong, I was only 16 at the oldest back in the 90s.
