Oops/Wow ratio for each team (Oops is a home loss or a loss on the road to one of the 4 non-contenders; Wow is a road win versus one of the other 5 contenders)

EVEN
West Virginia: 1/1 (home loss vs. Texas/road win vs. ISU)
Oklahoma: 1/1 (road loss vs. KSU/road win vs. Baylor)
Texas 2/2 (road losses vs. TCU and Texas Tech/road wins vs. ISU & Baylor)

Minus 1
Kansas: 1/0 (road loss vs. Okie State/no unexpected wins)
Baylor 2/1 (home losses vs. Texas & Oklahoma/road win vs ISU)

Minus 2
ISU 2/0 (home losses vs. Baylor & ISU/no unexpected wins)
Kansas State 2/0 (home losses vs. West Virginia & ISU/no unexpected wins)

Minus 4
Texas Tech 4/0 (home losses to KU, Baylor, West Va, road loss to KSU/no unexpected wins)

Minus 5
Okie State 5/0 (home losses to OU, Baylor & ISU, road losses to KSU & Texas Tech/no unexpected wins)
TCU 5/0 (home losses to West Virginia, Texas Tech, Iowa State & KU, road losses to Okie State/no unexpected wins

Does anyone else find it pretty amazing what Weber has been able to throw together down there this year?

They had tons of guys quit off of last year's squad, didn't he? I know for a while there people were wondering if he'd even be able to fill a roster?

You can rip his coaching ability all you want to, but what he's been able to put together is pretty amazing IMO. Where did he get all these players? JUCO?

They're 3-7 in Big 12 play.

...now you mildcats can go back to sucking!!! (had to edit, your thought was incomplete)

Nah, they are already out of the race for the Big 12 title so I am fine with them picking off some more non-KU contenders.

That game was in Austin.

This. I'm not sure how amazed we should be about a record like that. This conference is tough, but they'd have been sitting at 2-8 in the conference if OU had done the needful. Yeah, they lost a lot of talent from last year's team, but who is responsible for that in the end? Bruce Weber.

Front loaded schedule with a bunch of freshman carrying the load. The season's not over. I know it's hard for some to give credit, regardless the circumstances of 'other' team. Baylor visits Wednesday.

100% props to beating OU, but KSU is not a good team and failing to acknowledge it isn't any better

They're a top 40 team on KenPom. That's not awful; it shows they have the talent of a 9-11 seed, but they've lost some close ones. They're not as young as you'd think, though; 6 of the 9 rotation players are juniors or seniors. There's some good teams in the conference, and the conference is even stronger because the bad teams aren't really that bad.

Last week, Iowa State fans were saying that Oklahoma wasn't going to lose another game ever.

You're smarter than Lon Kruger.

"Bruce (Weber) does a great job and had them ready to fight and compete, and we did not do what we had to, to win a road game against a good club."

Don't be dumb, what is he going to say? We lost to a bad team? Their record shows they are not a good team. Not a terrible team, but not a good team either.

Six of the 9 rotation players are juniors or seniors. There aren't a bunch of freshmen carrying the load, just more freshmen playing core minutes than KSU is used to.

Wade, Brown and Stokes are all off and on starters. Two freshmen are red-shirts. Wes and DJ return. It's a young team. Look forward to hosting Ku.

First do KU and ISU another favor and handle your business at home vs. Baylor this week. We're all cheering for you!

Not me! If the mildcats win, so be it. But I cannot bring myself to cheer for them. I'd rather ISU win the rest of their games and not have to rely on the Little crApple to get an advantage in the standings.

ISU winning the rest of their games isn't enough to get them what they want.
