There were 8 league games on ESPN+ last season.
TNT gets 10 league games this season.
He could be put on the sex offender list for that. But, he’s a hawk fan, so he’s probably already on it.
I'm all for hating on the Squaks, but let's not act like our fan base doesn't have it's fair share of bad apples.

Not at all my point. We do. I'm saying that my kids have been to MANY Cyclone events over the years that was the only one where I had to explain why another man had his penis out.
not necessarily shocked...last year's game against North Dakota was on FS1 and South Dakota is climbing as one of the better FCS squads. Really good for exposure for us though so it's awesome
I mean we technically DO have visiting sections in JTS....you know who doesn't have a visiting section? Iowa. Hence why there's not tons of Cyclone fans who actually go to the game whenever it's in Iowa City.

It’s weird that you’ve only seen horrible behavior from the Hawk fans. Cyclone fans are just as bad.
Including around kids.
I'm all for some spirited tribalism, but I've also been to 25+ ISU/Iowa football games at this point and the idea that there are more bad Iowa fans than ISU fans is simply not true - it's a 1:1 (which you could argue is a good thing).
The type of ****** behavior is a little different - it's a weirdly cocky v weirdly defensive situation - but at the end of the day it's all the same fun/annoying ********.

It's not even close to a 1:1 ratio. The Iowa fan base is significantly larger and they draw in a much heavier uneducated t-shirt fan compared to Iowa State. I'm not saying we don't have a ton of bad apples but we don't come close to touching the Iowa fan base. I've been to a ton of non Iowa State games in Kinnick and they are just as awful to other visiting fans as they are to us. That fan base takes pride in treating visitors like sh!t.
No doubt there are some ISU fans that can't handle their booze.... but the Hok fans are far worse with their behavior towards opposing teams fans. Their actions in the JTS lots are far worse than ISU fans. I can't speak for ISU fans behavior in IC, because I will never go to that hell hole.
I've only missed like 3 CyHawk games in Kinnick going back to 2000 and like 2 in Trice so here's my take. Going back to the last 4 or 5 games in JT, there have been a fraction of Iowa fans in the stadium compared to prior years. In the stadium vs the lots is a completely different deal. The parking situation at Iowa State brings in thousands of Iowa fans which has kind of made me despise the game, especuially since they are buying up the grass lot parking passes when they go on sale. . We don't have that luxury in Iowa City so Iowa State fans stay away for the most part. The fans that are in the lots just to tailgate are probably the worst of the worst. I've had both good and bad experiences in Iowa City. My friends tailgate near the stadium at one of the first houses on Melrose and everyone is usually very nice and friendly and just there to have a good time. Once you start walking towards the stadium that's when things get interesting. Yeah I've had sh!t thrown at me but 9 times out of 10 there's usually an Iowa fan around that will interject.
