Curious what some posters are gonna say in the Game Day thread now that all of their "Cmon Keshon, you've gotta be better than that" posts are out of the picture. Back to hammering on Heise the first time he misses a shot?

TJ and the rest of the team aren't planning on just showing up and taking an L. It's a tall task, but we still have a lot of players that are wearing jerseys tomorrow. May as well win.

This makes me wish that Otz would let the bench play more than the last minute of a game when are up by 20 in the 4th quarter. Nojus would have benefitted from more minutes in those games.

Nojus getting into the game to play against the scrubs wouldn't prepare him at all for tomorrow. What's going to prepare him is the work he put in to get himself to this level via high school / AAU, his offseason work, and what he's done in practice against a top 10 team he consistently plays against.

Nojus played a lot of regular minutes in November.

I don't know what one minute of game time with other bench players does.

I'm in the 'KG forces it and turns it over too much' camp but also think the injury has been there a while and everything's harder physically when that's going on. I also don't think he should be benched; the group in general forces things or doesn't take care of the ball very well for stretches.

Heise will get ripped and then if someone like Nojus has a nice game it will be 'what were the coaches thinking not playing him!?' completely ignoring that Houston likely hasn't scouted him much.

Even one minute against scrubs is better than no minutes. How about working him for some minutes earlier in a game with 4 other starters, same with the other bench guys?

Well, one good thing. Not to be negative Ned but preparing for a blowout loss. Anything else in the game score is a positive.

Getting the ball across the time line is my biggest concern. Can Heise handle the ball well enough to help Lipsey bring it across? Once we get it across, I feel like we have a chance in the half court to get it into the Presidents or shoot threes and go for the offensive rebounds.
