Maybe this will "force" Heise to shoot, he'll make a few, boost his confidence and he will be a bigger contributor for the stretch run of the season.
Damn most teams only get about one chance at that. Surprised we got two.Final Four hopes dashed for the 2nd time this season.
Why twice? When they are dashed the first time isn't that a permanent thing?Final Four hopes dashed for the 2nd time this season.
Nojus getting into the game to play against the scrubs wouldn't prepare him at all for tomorrow. What's going to prepare him is the work he put in to get himself to this level via high school / AAU, his offseason work, and what he's done in practice against a top 10 team he consistently plays against. This makes me wish that Otz would let the bench play more than the last minute of a game when are up by 20 in the 4th quarter. Nojus would have benefitted from more minutes in those games.

Curious what some posters are gonna say in the Game Day thread now that all of their "Cmon Keshon, you've gotta be better than that" posts are out of the picture. Back to hammering on Heise the first time he misses a shot?
TJ and the rest of the team aren't planning on just showing up and taking an L. It's a tall task, but we still have a lot of players that are wearing jerseys tomorrow. May as well win.
Even one minute against scrubs is better than no minutes. How about working him for some minutes earlier in a game with 4 other starters, same with the other bench guys?Nojus getting into the game to play against the scrubs wouldn't prepare him at all for tomorrow. Why are we certain he plays? TJ may just try and run with 7. He did that often last year.Nojus played a lot of regular minutes in November.
I don't know what one minute of game time with other bench players does.
There is no substitute for game time experience in order to get better is my point. We'll just have to disagree. He did that in November and it's not a middle school B team where everyone gets to play.
Get the ball to the Presidents.
