My wife is in Minnesota watching the grandchildren, giving me the perfect excuse to dine on pork tenderloin this evening. My opinion of CBF is not popular on this site and I think less of him now than I did this afternoon, which is saying something. Anyway, that's old news and Kelsey will land on her feet. Shout out to Brent Blum who's evidently a stand-up guy. Kelsey has heard from an impressive list of schools, including B1G, Big XII, Mountain West, Big Sky and a host of mid-majors. If she opts out of a P4 conference opportunity, I see a great fit at a regular 20-game winning land grant school in a scenic location, with rock solid coaching staff featuring McDermott ties.
Mountain West and Big Sky are mid majors. I am happy for her, hope she finds a place to play and be succesful.

Exceptional inside information. I know the same as I did this afternoon, which is not saying something.

Joens needs to transfer to a mid-major if she wants to play big minutes.
Possibly, but you might want to keep your day job.

Ashley's home, recently returned from Greece for a couple days before heading off to WNBA Training Camp. She reads Cyclone Fanatic, so people should probably be more careful of what they say about her father and sisters.

Kelsey and her tight-knit family are weighing opportunities and scheduling visits around her ISU studies. She's made one visit, to a perennial 20-game winner in the Big East which lost four guards to graduation and their leading 3 point shooter to the portal. Yeah, the lowly Big East with National Champion Connecticut. Next week she'll be hosted by a western mid-major which has won (outright or shared) five of the last ten regular season championships in their conference.

I'll stop now - she's been contacted by over 100 schools, with coaches who appreciate her work rate and unrealized offensive potential, including a number of P4 or P5 institutions (depending on how you categorize the Big East and to be reconstituted PAC 12). Women who shoot 43.8% from three-point land are always going to be in demand - she didn't want to leave ISU but it certainly appears she's going to come out of this just fine. You can write it in pen - she's going to be somebody's "Hannah Belanger" for the next two years...

This.
I hate to see her go. She was way underused and was always the hardest working player on the floor. I hope she kills it where ever she lands.

Sorry but I’m hung up on this part… The implication is that because Ashley is in the states, she now might personally track down message board posters? And make them regret their comments? Liam Neeson style or what?

This is objectively a hilarious post. Sounds like a salesman.

I love those Liam Neeson movies, but I was going for, "why would ISU fans want to alienate one of our all-time greats with negative comments about her family." I guess I'd like to see her as an ambassador of the school in the future...

Have seen no one say negative things about any of the sisters, the father sure but not the sisters.

So you want to somehow tie any other member of the Big East to UCONN, that is bold. In the last 11 seasons they have been in the Big East they are 174-9. The Big East is a 1 team show.

With that said I hope she gets to a place she enjoys and does well for the rest of her playing career .

If anything said on a BBS alienates Ashley then something is seriously wrong.
