So since the stalls are straight, does that mean every lane is two way? That might cause issues if they don’t put in one way signs.
From the front of the spotDoes anyone know the length of the parking stalls out to the red line? I’m trying to get an idea about how much space I’ll have behind my car.
A Honda Odyssey is 17 feet (example)From the front of the spot
18’ to the end of the yellow parking stall line
25’ to the red line
Guess I better bring a blanket to cover car roof for scratch protection, going to be 2 feet overlap for the 10 foot tailgate tent.A Honda Odyssey is 17 feet (example)
No ****? My F150 SuperCrew with the short box is 19'4". I'd have imagined a much larger difference than 2'. I wouldn't consider a van exactly an oversized vehicle and the fact that you can't put a tent behind it without going up over the vehicle is going to get old fast.A Honda Odyssey is 17 feet (example)
I honestly think it's all part of JP's long play...to slowly suck the life out of the tailgating scene (messing with parking lots, no room for tents, no ditch gatherings, etc) with the thought he can drive more game day business toward CyTown. No ****? I do still maintain this is going to ruin tailgating as we've come to know it. Being able to sit in the tent all day with beverages chatting with people is what it's all about. You used to be able to set up shop in the ditches. At least when I drove by a couple weeks ago that wasn't going to be happening due to them being dirt and having wicked slopes.
Not everyone can arrive 5 hours before games. Common courtesy to allow others to enter parking. No ****? My F150 SuperCrew with the short box is 19'4". I absolutely 100% agree with you. I don't see why these things have to be mutually exclusive. Not everyone can arrive 5 hours before games. Common courtesy to allow others to enter parking.
The stalls are 9' wide and 25' long.Does anyone know the length of the parking stalls out to the red line? I’m trying to get an idea about how much space I’ll have behind my car.
How are you going to make a 10' tent fit in a 9' wide space?Guess I better bring a blanket to cover car roof for scratch protection, going to be 2 feet overlap for the 10 foot tailgate tent.
he may have to spit on it...How are you going to make a 10' tent fit in a 9' wide space?
Have you been inside the Stark Athletic Facility? Lol or our locker rooms?Hope we don't recruit any players from this high school. When they come to Ames for an official visit, they'll laugh at our facilities.
Oops, didn't realize spaces were only 9' wide damn. How are you going to make a 10' tent fit in a 9' wide space?
Those ISU tents that tailgaters put up are 9x9
