It was not a good basketball game but was fun to see Joens get 30 minutes of court time tonight. Mercury only had eight players but still surprised and pleased to see her play that much. Had 8 pts and 3 reb.

Been watching to see Joens but seeing Gustafson is playing very solid post and looks much improved over her start in the WNBA, even takes and makes a three occasionally. Megan and Griner are pretty much Joens' only teammates that will share the ball with her.
And her corgi has it's own Twitter account so that's pretty cool.

The WNBA regular season is officially over, and Joens ended up having a decent year thanks mainly to the Mercury. IN 11 games with Dallas/LV, she mainly played in mop-up duty and scored 3 points in 20 total minutes. But in 8 games with Phoenix she scored 36 points in 107 minutes.
Out of all ISU WNBA players not named Bridget Carleton, her single-season totals were #2 in scoring (Frese 2000 -- 62 points) and #3 in minutes played (Frese 2000 -- 222 min, Lacey 2010 -- 144 min).

I assumed "left" meant those left on the roster who have not arrived yet.
I read awhile ago that she cut it while “in Russia” because the very cold temperatures there kept her braids from drying. Thus she was always cold. Kind of surprised she’s kept it short, but I like it.
Also. I noticed Ashley being in that no-passing zone, too.
That makes sense! It appears that another of her Phoenix teammates will be on the team also.
