It wasn't long after Smart's apology broadcast on ESPN that an ESPN reporter said he heard from a T-Tech source that a racial slur was used, so quit saying nobody said it wasn't besides Smart. I'm also assuming the people around Orr are his friends or at the least want to get along with him, so they may or may not accuse him of saying a racial slur even if he had said one. And if you can hear exactly what was said from the audio you have better hearing than I do. From Smart's reaction, at least two things were said. One when he was on his back, heard Orr and immediately got up and charged him, then when Orr said something else and Smart pushed him. But go ahead and defend a guy known by other coaches as somebody who will bait 19-20 year old young men during the pressure of a basketball game, caught on video giving the FU gesture to an A and M player, and called a player a piece of crap if not worse. These are just the things we know about. It's also possible Smart thought he heard something racist in the heat of the confrontation. But you've made up your mind that Smart is the bad guy and a piece of crap, so you and Mr. Orr would probably get along great.
