Some of you are waaaayyyyyy too sensitive about something like this. I get it, some of you hate JP and want to pounce in internet outrage at anything you deem as a misstep or shortcoming on his part.

If I was in his spot I certainly wouldn't have responded like he did, but Jamie is a competitive guy and he gets fired up from time to time. I would rather have this than an AD who doesn't seem to care.

Overall, I can overlook instances like this as not a big deal because I feel he does many, many more positive things for ISU Athletics than negative ones.

When it comes to reacting like he did on twitter, I think childish is a lot more accurate than competitive. Seriously, the JP team can defend JP for a lot of things, but insulting a season ticket holder and donor isn't one of them. This guy has continued to donate and come to games during one of the worst decades of Cyclone football thanks to JP's two hires, twitters a compliment on the new hire, and our A D tells him we don't want him? The only thing more ridiculous than that is defending it.
