I was told to take a vacation from here so I didn't have a chance yet - but RIP. Hope the family is doing well.
Died too young. Too many young former Cyclones are leaving too soon. Here's a short clip of some good memories of somebody who always gave it his all, even if the team was down 20+ in a road Big 12 game. Passion is how I will remember Mr. Vroman, RIP.

He wasn’t a bad guy at all. He was actually a very good guy, he just partied way to hard with guys he made connections with that could handle it better than him.I remember seeing him sitting on a bar stool with his long legs stretched out smoking a cigarette. He definitely stood out. He really didn't seem like a bad guy so it's sad to know he's gone.
There's a lot of dust in my office right now.A good read:

Jackson Vroman traveled the world, playing ball, partying and drawing friends into his circle. Yet his death at 34 cast a lonely light across his life.www.nytimes.com
Always confused about the NYTimes. They always say I've reached my number of complimentary views, YET my cookies are never saved, I have a VPN which establishes a new IP address each day, and I've never subscribed or anything of the like to them. I guess, what I'm saying is "they are lying when they say 'complimentary'".A good read:

He was a nice guy. I remember drinking with him at People's one night when he first got to Ames. I don't think anyone had a clue he was on the basketball team at that time. You'd see him out with Homan a lot.He wasn’t a bad guy at all. He was actually a very good guy, he just partied way to hard with guys he made connections with that could handle it better than him.
