It is a talent issue, and your post kind of shows that. If you think it is ok that the ISU talent is only "just as good" or "match up well" with a FCS school, that is a HUGE PROBLEM.
No, my post doesn't show that it's a talent issue. I compare to NDSU because that's who we just played. And more than anything it points to how these FCS level athletes, who didn't receive D1 opportunities, but are well coached and well prepared, can indeed compete. NDSU doesn't have better talent than we do, they just maximize what they do have, whereas we don't.
