Oh dammit. I read the quote right the first time....

I'm embarassed that we're dogs to Baylor. Yea, we've lost recently, but it hasn't been to Baylor.....

If we lose to Baylor, I will officially hand in my fan card.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised to be a dog to Baylor on the road. Our road record in horrendous and we have yet to play 4 quarters of a football game.

3 of my 10 picks on the spread this week will be ISU, UI and TT for sure.

I wouldn't touch this game. The betters can't picture us winning a road game and I don't blame them one bit.

Baylor is a very quickly building team, they should be favored, I'm actually surprised it isn't a point or two higher. We're horrible on the road over the past few seasons (or decades) and they've shown to be a much better team each week. I think we can certainly pull out a win, but it's not an easy game.

People need to get past "names" and realize that college football is top to bottom more competitive each and every year and "names" mean nothing nowadays. Look at Texas A&M and Nebraska from this past weekend for a great example of why names just aren't too important anymore.

I think they are all reasonable lines.

That being said, I'd put money on us and Indiana if I had to bet....

Baylor's QB will probably give us fits, but I think we're playing better than they are at this point, and we have as much - if not more - talent than Baylor has across the board. Baylor is certainly on the upswing, but they are still not a great team, though not nearly as bad as in the past. I bet we'd be 5 point favorites if the game was here.

If we play like we did against KU, we should beat Baylor - even with the 3rd quarter debacle.

IU has had Iowa's number, and Iowa has proven that their offense isn't exactly explosive against decent competition. Plus that Indiana offense gives Iowa's D fits. I thought Iowa's D matched up best against Michigan State of the teams remaining on their schedule.

That's about what I expected the line to be. It will be interesting to see how it moves during the week.

Uhh, not to nitpick, but 3 years ago didn't we lose to Baylor? Fumbles on the 1 yard line *grumble grumble*

Minus a cold day in hell, we should never lose to Baylor.

I think a lot of teams in the Big 12 probably think that about us. Baylor is improved and we're bad on the road. I'll admit I might just have a patented "WHO Soundoff Hawkeye Meltdown" if we lose though.

Not sure what team you have been following, but in my 2+ decades of following the team there isn't anyone we play on any given day that isn't a tough game. Especially a Big 12 team on the road.

After Saturday, I honestly expected ISU to be favored. I bet Kansas rank goes down this week. I bet peoples view of that game is going to be that Kansas is not nearly as good as they thought or they would of taken care of ISU from the start; not that ISU might be better then we originally thought.

KU is 16 in the AP and 15 in the coaches...they were 16 in both last week.
