sooo we lose at 8th ranked KU, go down 3. Kansas loses at unranked OSU, stays the same. Do these people even logic?

I used to pant over the rankings. We are beyond that. Just win baby. We can win any game we play now. We need to take the next step and regularly win these games that are a toss up on the road.

Thanks UNI, I shouldn't have any trouble picking my upset special when I'm filling out my brackets this year.

Just because they're high in the polls, doesn't mean they'll get a high seed. Tournament committee much much much smarter and logical, than the AP voters.

My guess is, whoever wins the league between UNI and WSU will get a 5 seed, barring slip ups to underdogs along the way.

Serious question because I haven't paid any attention to them this year. Who, other than WSU (most overrated team in CBB) did the pantherhoks beat?

UNC lost at home to Virginia and also did not move. Odd to say the least.

Based on this weeks drop, a loss tonight will probably put the hoks ahead of us next week.

Arizona and Notre Dame both had bigger cushions in the poll last week, while the teams below ISU were pretty close points-wise. It would have taken quite a few more vote and ranking changes for them to drop 3 spots like ISU did.

I also wonder if being the only game on at the time hurt ISU more because more CBB people see the loss. That Duke-UND game was effectively over before people on the West Coast had their morning coffee.

Moral of the story is to play the weakest non-conference schedule because it doesn't matter in the eyes of the AP voters.
