Because MSU dropped six spots, but like I said NET doesn't always make the most sense.

Had no idea MSU was in such a slump. Only win in the last 6 games was home vs. Indiana, who is terrible on the road. Maybe MSU can right the ship a bit. They have some big games coming up, so opportunities to get back into the top 30 and get Iowa another Quad 1 win, but they are not trending well and have some tough ones ahead.
1-5 in Quad 1 is not good, but 6-3 in Quad 2 for Iowa is solid, and again, the committee has typically also rewarded avoidance of bad losses, which Iowa has done and barring something shocking will do through the whole season.

Michigan state wasn't gonna be a quad one either way. They are overrated as it is.
They've got about as many losses to non tourney teams as they do good wins.
They play Duke tonight. Winning that one would be very big for them.

Since VA and Duke were brought up, holy **** is the ACC terrible. 11 Kenpom teams ranked 60 or worse. The B12 has one.
I honestly can't believe they aren't there already. I'm lost with the NET. 17-10 beat Providence, @Duke, Miami twice and not in top 75? I know they have some bad early losses but it's the top 75 not 25
If it was 82 79 they absolutely could of stayed in top 30
the three losses they have in Q3 basically erase anything good they did.
Miami's NET is 60. It's like beating KSU twice. It's nice but let's not get crazy here.
Come on! you know they're a top 75 team if you're being honest. That offensive style really screws them on style points. Give me Virginia over Utah State, Witchita State, West Virginia, Towson, Northwestern, and Santa Clara

The ACC is terrible. You don't need to advocate for VA to help Iowa's case, I think Iowa is good enough to get a 7-10 seed. .
I'm not doing it for Iowa. Though I guess coincidentally they're connected. I'm just doing it for Basketball. If we're lucky enough to be that 7 I hope they aren't a 10. You don't get Tony Bennett twice in 1 year
