The what?
I'm not up to speed on internets from 1997.
Yes but may not make it past round of 32
Same goes for every single other team in the tournament.
Yeah, tournament doesn’t care what you are or where you’ve been. Play well, you keep advancing, play poorly, you’re going home. There’s been dozens of teams better than this one that had an early exit, and worse teams than this one that went deep.
Yikes, a home loss to Nebraska that year too. That sucksIf it offers any consolation, the 1996-7 team was highly ranked, slipped up during the regular season and ended up a miracle layup from the Elite Eight. Let's hope something like that happens.

We have two games remaining in conference play. And to be perfectly honest with you, dropping these last games look more predictable than winning them. Say we lose the first round of the Big 12 tournament, are we really expected a bid with the big dance? I don’t think so.. Thoughts?

I feel like this thread happens every year and then the result is people are mad when we get a seed or two higher than they think we should be in the tourney.
Ok we are not a bubble team. Talent wise should make it past, but we have fallen in a funk. Nice post though
Really think so?
And are bubble teams the only ones who don't make it past the 1st weekend? Is that why so many people fill out brackets and tune in?
And what part of ISU's game makes you think they should get past the first weekend?
Is a funk typically a month long?
