Black Helmet is on fire...I like they used silver trim..Black uni with black helmet with silver trim is very very cool.

White is clean and hot.

Everyone freaked out for no reason. Granted i’m A gold color snob and dont like yellow but overall these are clean and simple.

Love Love Love these!!!

You can mix and match. I have a source telling me that there is more than just 3 options... Something to look forward to

I figured that would be the case. These are just the standard, expected unis. I imagine we'll get to see some different lids as well.

Agree they look much better on the players than on a backroom table in Carroll, IA.

The whites also made me think of the McCarney era whites. Can someone do a side-by-side?

Probably in the minority, but I liked the "IOWA STATE" on the front of the jerseys, which I see is gone.

I guess if the recruits like black, I can live with it. Like it better than the anthracite of last year, but don't understand why we are not proud of cardinal and gold and feel the need to introduce something that is about 5 years from being cutting edge.

I like them a lot. I like that they are pretty simple in design. I was worried we would try to get too cutting edge and they would look like crap. These are all really clean. I like them the way they are shown, but if the staff mixes and matches I think they will look much better than the grey of last year.

Three "color rush" photos but I'm sure they'll mix and match with all of these. Maybe even throw in a gold jersey/pants some day.

White/White/Cardinal will look so good too.

I think they whiffed on the red/cardinal accent on the home jerseys. Would've preffered gold in there somewhere but maybe they didn't want to put that with the black. The black collar isn't nearly as bad as the leaked photo although the black chinstrap doesn't work.

The jerseys are more mismatched with the helmets than in previous years, which looks kinda cheap.

Have no issues with the whites. Those are clean. The black feels like something subtle is missing, but they still look sharp.
I may be off here, but I think it may have been an input so it was a smoother transition to the black jersey. It would be odd to just throw an all black alternate into a uniform template that has no other black whatsoever.

You can be proud of something and not wear it every single game, you know.
