Well the more Quad 1 wins a team has improves their tourney resume which could get us a better seed.

Do you really not know all of this or are you just playing dumb?
Oh, we're fully aware how seeding works, we've been to the tournament a few times recently. Been around that block before.

I don't know about that, you won 5 conference games in a row early and now are teetering 1W/1L each week. That's something of a regression.

Not hurting your tournament chances this time, though. That's pretty solid.

Since the 5 game win streak we have lost 3 road games we were underdogs in, won 2 home games we were favorites and won a road game we were an underdog in.

How is that a regression?

By not winning 5 straight more games, 4hed. Duh. 3 losses > 0 losses.

Look at the Minnesota line. Iowa was +5.5 but are double digit spots higher in advanced analytics. That must mean Minnesota's home court advantage (which is pathetic) is worth like 9 points lol

Right now, Sagarin would still have Minnesota as a 2 point favorite at home against Iowa.

The line opened at Minny -4 or -4.5 for Sundays game. Doesnt seem that far off.

So Minnesota got an extra 2.5 points. Thanks for proving my point

I am guessing ISU fans thought Grill would be similar to the Braun kid for KU.
We wish. Braun was rated higher through and through (on top of being a post, not a guard).

And playing for one of the best* coaches and teams in the country, that doesn't hurt either.

Why would that be? One is 6’6 205 and was a top 100 player by many, the other is a 6’3 late bloomer that literally almost anyone you ask knew he was a 4 year player and not a stud from day 1.
