I thought the thread was about "Iowa Farm Savings."

To me, **** kickers were regular leather work boots. Or say insulated rubber boots worn in the cold and snow and when things were deep (standalone, not worn over leather boots).

I don't recall calling regular buckle-up rain boots **** kickers. They are pert near that, so I am less certain about that.

Rubbers, with the soft rubber button fastener, might have been called rubbers or rain boots or boots. By brand name they were Tingleys, which I believe we called them some, but probably not a lot. I recall that the veterinarians wore them more than we did.

Probably most people still know what "it is getting pretty deep in here" means.

6am - breakfast
9:30 - lunch
noon - dinner
3pm - lunch
6pm - supper

And lunch would often consist of half a sandwich and some baked good. I'm amazed I wasn't 800 lbs.
Yep. I could have added lunches in there, which varied somewhat, depending on the farmer.

Till I was about 9 I got consistently confused why sometimes when we passed a farm I would say smells like money and half the time my dad would agree and have the time he wouldn’t but never said why. The times he wouldn’t was because we went passed a dairy or cattle’s lot.

Very perceptive on your part. One of the advantages of raising and being around many kinds of livestock is the ability to make fine distinctions, and to be precise when around different kinds of nonsense or untruths.

Such as, "Bull **** . . . . .," or "I'm not going to put up with your horse **** . . . . ."

It is more of an innate ability. I'm not going to try to explain it.

When we went to town for dinner, the money was more of the porcine kind.
