Poor effort observed by my Dad was decribed as "The ground is always hard where a poor hog roots".

I thought the thread was about "Iowa Farm Savings."

Farmers don't save! lol

Like I tell people about farmers spending habits on equipment..."If you gave the average Iowa farmer the choice between paying taxes and AIDS...they'd take AIDS every time. They know people who have AIDS and survived...they've never meet anyone that paid taxes and lived"

Not a saying, but why do a lot of people out in the country say "warsh" instead of "wash"?

noon - dinner
3pm - lunch
6pm - supper

And lunch would often consist of half a sandwich and some baked good. I'm amazed I wasn't 800 lbs.
