Injuries - the concern…

I am concerned the groin injuries of TL and KG, despite sitting both today, won’t be significantly improved for the NCAAs. There was likely little benefit (seedings) to give Tamin a go today - so you may as well rest him along w KG.

In my experience it takes weeks of inactivity to put a real dent in healing a groin strain/pull. Tamin looked mighty gimpy today in warmups.

Hope I am wrong.

Go Clones!

Not exactly sure.

We have shown we can do well without them. Hopefully we pull a three seed and can get through the first weekend without them. That would give Gilbert almost three and Lipsey two.

It's Keshon's last go and Tamin is a warrior. They have 7 maybe 8 days to rest. They haven't had that in months and months.....

We'll be a 3 seed and I don't want to be anyone who has to face us full strength.

Just have to hope they don’t face a team that shoots the lights out like BYU.

I have no doubt Tamin will give it his all. But the fact he didn’t play today means his injury is bad.

Eh I disagree. I think it means that we have bigger sights than a Big 12 tourney championship. Tamin is only prolonging the rest he needs if he goes. We all love winning KC but we all want an elite 8 much more.

I have a feeling that TJ is more concerned with the NCAA than the big 12 this year. He wanted to rest him.
Yeah....and it's easy to (as fans) rationalize ANY decision now....but after this loss (which was an EXCELLENT effort), now easy to rest. Had we pulled out the win, maybe the guards give it a go to try to keep winning in the big 12 tourney tomorrow and either get more injured or just delay healing (and likely a loss).

If we won, I don’t think lipsy or Gilbert plays tomorrow.
