Over the last 2 games our offense has gone from 30th on KenPom up to 19th.
The loss today put our D from 6th to 11th, but still good.

That’s something everyone is missing also. We played yesterday. So not only were we down two but the main 6 guys played a full game yesterday so they came in without completely full tanks. May not have gassed as much if we had a days rest.
Based on how we played today down 2 starters I’m confident we can find a way to sneak out of the first weekend even if we aren’t at full strength. Teams like Michigan and Ole Miss don’t scare me (famous last words).

Agree. What we had today needs to be able to win first round. They then get a days rest and if one of keshon or Tamin goes we should be able to slide to second weekend.
Had we lost yesterday we’d have been at risk of dropping to a 4. Combined with beating KSU I think we kept our floor intact.

If ISU drops to a 4 seed but does NOT get put in Auburn or Duke's bracket, then tbh I'm fine with it. Would prefer a 3 obviously, but I'm not going to sweat being the best 4 seed if it comes to that.
As I said in the game thread, I hate losing the game, but I honestly don’t mind us sitting out the rest of this tournament. The next two games would have been brutal.
If he was 30% he wouldn’t have been cleared to play. That said, I fully support Otz’s decision to sit him.
I'm just a bit concerned about Gilbert. really he was the best player on this team from the beginning of this season to idk mid-january and something happened. I just don't think he's going to be able to get back to normal
I know this won’t be popular but right now Gilbert is a dtstraction to this team! Tamin is a true warrior and will be playing next week even if it’s on one leg! I do not question his toughness!! However, Keyson’s injury is more between his ears than anything else! I have heard this info from very credible people at ISU.
Depends on the draw, but the more we can sit Lipsey and Gilbert next week, the better the chance of making it through the following week.
Northwestern could do us a favor and remove any doubt of a 3-seed by knocking off Wisconsin today. Hopefully they’re still pissed about not having AC in their hotel.
