Johnny is the right answer here, of course.

However, no one has mentioned Pete Taylor, and I think he would be almost as good as JO.

If Larry still drank he'd be my first choice so I guess I would probably go with Coach McCarney. I have had a beer in KC with CW and John Walters before at the Big 12 tourney though.

Tim Floyd. I bet he has a few stories to tell.

Honestly, I'd love the chance to sit down with Danny Harris too. With the celebrity and success came some dark dark days I imagine that would be more of a motivational speaker beer though.

If time travel is involved, 18 year old Farnsworth. Give him a little bit of advice on how to better spend his time at Iowa State.

Johnny is the correct answer I think, but the name that first came to mind is Kenny Pratt. I am sure he has stories.

It would be Johnny for me, I would probably need to be Ubered home. :)

For alive Cyclones I think Prohm would be interesting, Eric Heft would have a broader range of ISU historic stories to hear about. Either one would be fun.

#1 Would be Hiawatha Rutland... Fun guy, liked to have a good time and was always down for an after hours party to do stand up comedy.
#2 Chris Taylor... The stories I have heard from my dad and his friends... He knew how to have a good time.

As a kid I wanted to be like Fred on the court so bad. I went to a Nick Nurse Camp and Julo was my coach, and I thought he was the coolest, funniest guy ever. The guy adored ISU, basketball, the United States. So I'd crack a cold one with Julius.
