I keep getting an audio ad for Amazon Alexa and/or Ecobee 4. I can't quite tell which ad, as it's sound but not video. But on the ticker at the bottom.

I'm trying not to run Adblockers on sites I care about, but things like this make it a much harder practice.

I'm getting these sound ads as well now. No video to click and silence, just sound.

The last few days, the pages keep refreshing back to the original post that was shown to me when I enter a thread. Sometimes it will take me back to that three or four times before I can read all the posts on that page.

This has been happening to me for the last 2-3 weeks. I'm using FireFox on Ubuntu and Android.

Google Chrome on a Mac here

This problem is related to the various things that the page is trying to load, like webservices.webspectator.com and various other sites. What seems to happen is that the page gets hung up trying to load resources from these other sites, and when it finally loads that resource, or gives up, the page jumps back to the post where you originally entered the thread.

So, if those external resources are congested, or if there is a problem with your particular IP's network getting to that other resource, you will get this jumping problem.

For me, the resource that the page load gets hung up on varies, but webservices.webspectator.com and pixel.quantserve.com seem to be two that I see often.

Not ad, but the typical virus, etc. messages that overtake the browser window. iPhone 5c (don't judge - it's paid for)

Slower than molasses in January on mobile tonight. And it's 80+ degrees here.
Thanks in advance for helping.
