If it works out that Prohm is no longer here, and Fred is available then hell yes he comes back. But he wouldn't fire Prohm just to bring back Fred.

This is one of those threads that make me want to push a new policy out there. When you have an idea for a thread, go ahead, write it up. Then, take a nap, sleep on it and have a cup of coffee or two to help you sober up. Then read your post again. If it still looks like a good idea, go ahead and post it.

I really feel that course of action would prevent a lot of this kind of stuff.

Sobriety and sleep will not fix stupid.

Would Jamie immediately Fire Prohm and accept hoiberg back? I've asked a few cyclone fans this today and they think he'd do it in a second.

if Fred said he wanted to come back as AD, would JP fire himself? If Fred wanted to come back as dean of the business school, would what's his name fire whomever the dean is? I spoke to some guys at Taco Bell and they think he would.

You should have talked to someone at Taco Johns. They're smarter 'cause Potato Ole's.

I think I have the solution.

Jamie should work out a deal with the Bulls so that Fred can be head coach and Prohm assistant coach for both teams. Prohm can handle the day-to-day stuff with ISU. Fred would coach all the ISU games. When the Bulls have a game on a day when ISU doesn't, Fred would coach the Bulls. When the games are on the same day Fred would coach ISU and Prohm would take over the Bulls.

Speaking of Cuban sandwiches, where can I get one in Des Moines? I feel like everywhere that had them has closed or changed their menu.

That's because Cuban sandwiches are bad. They're trying to bring their little weak *** **** into a country where it's no big deal to eat half a pound of meat at lunch.

Someone please tell me what I said that was inaccurate.

I understand that Fred lovers don't want to hear the truth, but Fred wanted out of here. I don't know why, but it's obvious to anyone with half a brain.

I don't doubt that Fred loves ISU, he just didn't want to work at ISU anymore for whatever reason?

I agreed with jsb earlier and now clonedude. Who the **** slipped me a mickey.

I don't have to re-read your post. You said he hasn't accomplished half of what Fred did in 5 years. Of course not, he's only been here a year. It's impossible to go to the NCAA tournament 4 times in one year, unless you're a wizard or something....so I guess if your criticism of Prohm is that he's not a wizard, that's valid. I don't agree with it, I have no expectation that our basketball coach be able to accomplish things outside the space-time continuum, but if that's a requirement for you, that's a valid beef, I suppose.
Are you talking about the wizard of Westwood? What if a coach was hired by four teams at the same time and all four went to the tournament in the same year? That wouldn't break the space time continuum. It is also as likely as this thread having an intelligent thought in it.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense to me. Because if he hated recruiting here where he was a god and could do no wrong, why would he want to do it someplace else?
how hard do you think recruiting would be at one of the bluebloods? I'll bet he could spend half the time recruiting he did at ISU and get a couple McDonald's all Americans each and every year. It is quit possible RV to unlv put him over the edge.
