The only way I can listen to **** V for an entire game is to count how many times he says "Baby". It sounds so stupid and throw back I can only laugh. Other than that I often have no idea who he is talking about with his endless stories - like WTF does Joe Blow on the 1973 Indiana team have to do with the current game? Dicki V while more a character of his old self. Brought a lot of stuff to basketball. He made it ok for Gus Johnson to do his thing. He brought excitement to the announce table. Like someone else said. He almost 80 years old. He cant know everyone. Think of your grandpa announcing. Yeah. I am not a huge fan. However, i dont mind him and there is a reason people get 3xcited when Dickie v is doing their game.

Vitale is a smart man, he caters to his audience. The only people in the country watching last night were Big 10 fans so why stroke other conferences? When he does a Big 12 game you'd think it's the only conference he watches. He's got nothing but great things to say about ISU, KU, and others.
