This seems like it was a "Where were you when..." type of game.

It was and I was in my living room watching the Cubs open their 2016 World Series winning season on the main tv, with the not as important game on my 2nd tv.

I had forgotten about it as well. Was just browsing cf before falling asleep and saw the thread and said oh ya that's tonight.

Turned it on with like 1.5 minutes left.

I had no interest after the ISU season ended.

If you didn't watch Nova won and Iowa was declared third best team.

2nd best because 2 seasons ago and 12-0 football season.

I watched very casually and it was cool, but was more glad it ended in regulation.

I unfortunately watched all of the Hampton game. Every. Last. Second.

I missed the 2011 ISU/Iowa football finish. Was at a bachelor party and couldn't watch. Stopped at a bar and saw the highlights. Would have been exciting, but kinda glad because I would have walked away thinking Steele Jantz was good.

Watching the Texas Tech game (best game under CPR imo) and OSU game from that season more than made up for it as well.

"Lovely" is probably not the best word to describe it...

1995. First football game my freshman year against Ohio which was the coming out party for Troy Davis. It was a Thursday night game and the Clones ended a long losing steak. While my buddies were helping throw a goalpost in Lake Laverne I was sitting in a biology lab doing some lab assignment about damn fruit flies. All these years later I still regret missing that game and my roommate still rubs it in my face.

I have a piece of goalpost from that game. Never been so excited about beating such a crappy team. =)

I left at halftime of the Okie State game in 2011. It could be worse. Much worse..

I was living in Omaha during that time and had tickets to the game. I started debating myself if I really wanted to drive there and back to make it back to work on time Friday. I decided that was a lot of hassle just to see us blown out by a team heading to the national championship.

Whoops.

We almost skipped - we had to get up at oh dark thirty to catch a 6.30a flight to Texas the next morning. We decided we could sleep on the plane. ;)

I'm jealous. I had a flight to Virginia at 5 the next morning and will regret not getting tough there for the rest of my life.

The most upsetting part is that I'm usually a die hard and stay until the very end. I've sat through literally hundreds of blowouts in JTS until the very end, hoping my cyclones make a miraculous comeback.

I was at work doing a DR test and missed the game. I left the office with about 1 minute to play and heard the ending on the radio on my way home. Stopped at the bar to see the replays.
And drink

I could have gone to the Oklahoma State game. Instead I watched it on TV and jumped up and down like a dufus when Woody scored.
