Remaining games for teams battling to play in Big 12 Championship Game:

Oklahoma: @#11 Okie St, #10 TCU, @ Kansas, WVU

Okie St: #8 OK, @ #14ISU, K-St, Kansas

ISU: @ WVU, #11 Okie St, @ Baylor, @ K-State

TCU: Texas, @#8 OK, @ Texas Tech, Baylor

Haven't been eliminated but will need help:

WVU: #14 ISU, @ K-St, Texa$, @ OK

Texa$: @#10 TCU, Kansas, @WVU, Texas Tech

I would say all the top 4 teams have the same as far as difficulty for the games they have left. Give me ISU 3-1 to finish... would love to see them win out but will be really tough.Thoughts?

It’s still hard to see a lot more wins. I hope Baylor gets their win this weekend.

I’m anxious about Saturday because we seem ripe for a letdown. West Virginia doesn’t suck.

From what I have seen so far, we are capable of winning all four games left on the schedule. The emergence of the defense has meant more than anything.

Do I think we will? No, but that might just be past experience talking. Give me 2-2 to finish 8-4, and I'll say the season was a resounding success. The best part is that success has come much quicker than I expected, and I have no doubt Campbell is aiming for much bigger things.

I like that they get Okie St at home. Of the teams in contention, ISU has as good of a path as any to get to the Championship game. I think OU loses to TCU, Okie St loses to OU, ISU loses to Okie St, TCU wins out. That should put ISU in 2nd, shouldn't it?

What would be the most surprising finish to our season? 0-4, 1-3, 2-2, 3-1, or 4-0?

My ranking from most surprising to least surprising:
1. 0-4
2. 4-0
3. 1-3
4. 2-2
5. 3-1

(#4 and #5 I debated for a while.. but in my mind those two loses would be WVU and Okie State and the way this team is playing I can't imagine them dropping two in a row right now)

I still think a 2-2 finish is most likely. Yes, this team played like a top ten team in October, but my mind keeps reminding me of the sports adage, "Things are never as good as they seem, nor as bad."

From a Big 12 Championship perspective, they need to at least finish 3-1, and I think this team needs to win this week for that to happen. We cannot aford to have any letdowns the rest of the way.

OSU is the critical game. I could see losing to WV and beating OSU, which would be much better for our odds to get to the title game. Rather just win it out though!

Just win, baby. There's only one game left on the schedule that makes me legitimately nervous, just because it's really the last ISU demon for Campbell to exorcise. But first things first...take care of WVU and set up a College Gameday visit to Ames for the Okie State game.

First of all, screw Baylor and that football program. I hope the team doesn't win another game for 5 years.

We are capable of winning the last four games, but I would be pretty happy splitting these next two. Both teams are quality and we may be due for a less-than-perfect performance. I think we can beat KSU, and we should handle Baylor I would hope.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they won't be there.
