te run that was not a td was a legit hold, on the td however that block was textbook perfect

As far as concern about the officiating, when I watched the replay it wasn't as bad as it intially appeared to me from the stands but it still stunk. Even the commentators had to admit that both Money's pi pass shouldn't have been overturned and the opi on Darks was weak sauce. They were laughing that Field Judge, Reggie Bush was going to need shoulder surgery from throwing the flag so much. I wonder how much he had riding on the game. I'll be watching for him again to see if he has questionable calls in future games. Just as frustrating as the calls made against ISU were the same calls not being made against Texas. Block in the back on a fair caught punt that happens right next to the player about to catch the punt, multiple holding calls that never were called at the point of attack. How can the officials not see those? Someone is always looking at the ball. How can you eat your flag when 2 defenders are manhandling a receiver 25 yards down the field from the play for at least 3 full seconds after the whistle? He definitely saw it because he ran about 20 yards to break it up. This wasn't the difference in the game, but it doesn't matter. Every team should get a fair shake. /End Rant/

I don't get the argument about the only reason the yardage was pretty much equal was because Texas had the short field. If that was the reason then all of those short fields should have resulted in TD's. They didn't. Texas deserved to win, but Iowa State handed it to them on a silver platter. Sorry, this Texas team is not that good. We will probably see that next week.

I agree Velo. Also, The replay footage I saw wasn't that great, but it looked like our first punt could have been flagged for running into the punter, but wasn't....again a 'no call'. Again, my footage wasn't very good, so I could stand to be corrected. It might be a little like picking fly crap out of pepper.

It wasn't closer than the score. We got beat like a rented mule. Accept it and move on.
