I used a windbreaker and a clipboard to walk into Halas Hall and on the field for Chicago Bears practices that were open to media.

That's awesome. Very similar to the Texas A&M fan who did the exact same thing when A&M won at Alabama in 2012. He was down on the field and sat on the bench as well. I can't remember where I read the story but it was great.

I am surprised there were no forms of identification or that no one on Virginia’s entourage was like who are you and what the hell are you doing beyond that one guy?

As for my experience, a friend of mine had a friend who played volleyball(?) at UCLA and said that a certain door was always unlocked at Pauley Pavilion. So we walked in and walked around during a women’s basketball summer practice. I was surprised that it wasn’t nicer and that they had to practice in there. Though to be fair, it’s comparable to Hilton and Assembly Hall in Champagne. Speaking of arenas, Drexel’s home court is probably the worst one I’ve been to in Division I. Think ISU playing at the Lied Rec Center with portable stadium seats being brought in for games.

About ten years ago, was in Miami with a buddy on a offshore fishing trip. We wanted to go out on a casino boat (it goes three miles offshore in international water, then you can gamble).

Went down to the dock to buy a ticket, but the boat was fully rented out for a private party that night, the U of Miami Law School reunion. We decided, wth, and just got in line with all the boarders. Not only did we not have to pay to get on, but got served a sit-down dinner, and the dean was passing out drink tickets, lol. Had a great time bluffing our way through conversations about what year we graduated and what we were doing now.

PLUS, I actually met a lovely lady while gambling/drinking, and she agreed to come back to my hotel when we got back to shore. Sadly, as we were departing the dock, her bf was waiting for her. * Sigh *

Years ago when working at Hilton I used to sometimes do concert security among many other things. Our big boss, a loud italian who could be intimidating as hell, used to make sure he came down to the floor without his credentials to see how some of the newest staff were doing. He would try to get through even yelling at them for not "knowing who I am" but then he would find the supervisor to tell them that "that guy/girl was doing a great job." I would always go over to them to tell them they were doing the right thing and don't let anyone intimidate them.

Sometimes you have to test the staff a little bit because the public certainly is going to.

Pregame ISU/IA when Shaggy hit 5fgs to win. Early in warmups. My brother got there early. Had hillside season tix. He's standing by the SE entrance to field when a lady with a full HyVee grocery cart asks him to open the gate. He does and she walks right in. He jokingly asked her for pass and she showed him. He opened gate and realized no one came to check on anything. He ended up walking right in and spent most of pregame warmups walking around on field. Buddy of his from high school was on video crew and saw him and asked if he wanted to watch from scoreboard so they had a nice view of the game.

I have never paid to attend a HS sporting event either. Always just tell them I'm with whatever radio station the visitor's town is in

Stumbling around the Barbary Coast casino in Vegas with some friends, I spotted a security guard standing between an elevator and a roped off stairwell. I told my friends to follow my lead and walked over to the stairwell and started to step over the velvet rope.

Security guard motions for me to stop and says "Are you guys with Keith?"
"Yes" I responded matter of factly.
Security guard hits the elevator button and says "Just use this".

Turns out Keith was one of the owners of the casino and was having a party downstairs. We were very underdressed and after two drinks and a brief exchange with Keith we left. We learned that if there are multiple women at Keith's table, they can all be his dates.

I went back to my parent's home to go deer hunting one October. We had purchased a balloon ride for them for their 40th Wedding Anniversary, and they were going that Saturday, over near Galena IL.

I had filled my tag the day before, so I tagged along to watch. My dad has a curiosity streak like no one's business, and was chatting up the balloon driver, as they were blowing it up.

Pretty soon, the balloon is full and he tells everyone to climb in. I did too, and away we went. Wish I would've peed first though.

Did you establish a pee corner?

Nicely done. Has anybody here bluffed their way someplace they shouldn't have been?

A bar with a terrible fake ID back in college. That's about it.

Forgot - I did get to go to the Playboy Mansion once but we were supposed to be there. However they were having a party that I snuck into and there were some celebrities there, not big into movies so it wasn't a big deal but Jason Kidd was there and I got to meet him. About an hour later they shuffled the few of us that weren't' supposed to be there out.

My best one yet resulted in these pictures and many others. The only place I was actually asked to leave was the locker room...
