I am sitting here in bewilderment as Greg McDermott is smiling and cordially talking to Gilstrap after a series of mind-numblingly stupid decisions. Get angry Greg!!

Wow great sequence there, now let's see it keep up.

Oh and glad to see you guys continue with your pathetic agendas

I agree with the Staiger agenda, but if your calling the rest of us pathetic for calling a spade a spade, then your wrong.

After going on a great run... We take 3 stupid shots and forget to play defense again. Typical

imagine houston will run out of gas later in the game where we can finally pull ahead for good

Sounds like TheHelgo was right...

Too bad I agreed with him. We have seen the same thing way too much the last 3.5 seasons.

You are joking, right? Losing is losing. The fundamentals of McD's teams, in most aspects, are improved over Morgan's. McD's squads have lacked two things, talent (especially in the backcourt) and toughness.

Very much disagreed with this. McD's teams have just as much talent as any team Morgan had if not more.

You tell me if any of morgan's teams had a top 20 player, who is or was a potential lottery pick but at least a first rounder most likely, and then one of the top juco players (who was rated top 25 between HS and JUCO by ESPN). Let's not mention the fact we had Wes Johnson who is now on track to be a top 3 NBA pick.

No, he never had that. The best ranked player Morgan had was top 75. I've been following the recruiting of this for a LONG time. McD's teams have more talent.

I work with a guy who went to Purdue, not familiar with ISU basketball at all, but he's been following it. Once he learned Johnson AND Brackins were on the same team for a few years the first thing out of his mouth was "Man, your coaching sucks. You had two first rounders on your team and still can't have a winning record? Fire your coach."

Just logged in to say that Gilstrap is clearly the best offensive player on this team--Brackins is pretty good too, when he's not airballing 18 footers--and that every time we get Gilstrap on the break or down low something good happens, so I'm pretty pleased to see that most of the time we walk it up and keep Gilstrap on the perimeter.

Just watched Garrett back his man down at 35 feet for about 7 seconds. Just great.

I think Blalock, Stinson, Sullivan, Vroman, Homan would all beg to differ with you. Plus Taggert had a drink or two here.
