You are not upset at what that level of play will yield in the Big 12?

Were the nonconference games that way? I can't remember.

Most were. Some of the holiday tournaments around Thanksgiving weren't. I'd say at most there were no more than 2-3 games that couldn't be seen.

great that we won... but it took taking their top 2 rebounders out of the game with fouls. The fact that we were out rebounded by them blows.

I did expect a better rebounding effort. Who wouldn't have against them?

Not as much as many here. And I guess I'm just a little more level-headed that I don't have to call for the coach's head midway through a close game. That's just dumb.

The games used to be on regular TV...not some local flunky cable access channel...

It's called money; Mediacom had more of it than the channels around Iowa that made up the old Cyclone TV network.

KIMT in Mason City used to pick up a few games a year; not enough sponsors were willing to put up the money necessary for KIMT to pick up more games.

No one else wanted the games. It also doesnt hurt that Medicom's boss in Iowa is a huge ISU fan.
