I'll use ranch on veggies occasionally if it's provided, but we don't own ranch dressing nor have I ever particularly liked it on a salad.

Husband and I must be the only ones!

If you are male and like ranch dressing, you are gay (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Real men use oil & vinegar on their leafy greens.

Because nothing says "man" like drizzling a little olive oil and your "leafy greens."

Real men probably don't eat the salad and wait for the 'ol 96er to show up at the table.

Depends on where I am. If I'm at home I usually make my own raspberry basil vinaigrette, but at a restaurant it's bleu cheese or bust.

All salad dressing sucks, especially ranch. If you have to coat stuff in dressing/sauce you're doing it all wrong (obviously exceptions would be things like wings).

"I'm eating a salad because it's healthy...or at least it was until I added a bottle of ranch to make it edible."

A good pizza, like good cuts of meat, doesn't need sauce with it.

There's a lot of decent to good stuff out there, but once I "discovered" ranch over 20 years ago, that's all I use. For just about everything. I don't even buy mayo anymore for sandwiches - a little bit of ranch works great (especially ranch with bacon!).

I'm an olive oil and balsamic vinegar fan. And I think it is hilarious seeing a bunch of dudes bickering over a thread about salad.

Ott's Poppy Seed dressing should be available in every fine dining establishment. Deliciousness in a bottle. Ranch is good if Ott's is not available. I've started mixing a bit of the bleu with the ranch on a salad for a bit more kick.
